A4C Empower Hour guest segment 4:30pm PST/7:30pm EST followed by Tanya’s Weekly News Update. Be sure to invite others and Register in Advance.

Dan Vachon, A4C’s Pastoral leader, will host the Empower Hour this week to discuss Action4Canada’s coast to coast seven week Prayer Walk4Revival from Passover to Pentecost. He will be joined by Pastor Darrel Battle and Pastor Bruce DeYoung. Pastor Dan will provide a presentation explaining the biblical significance of this time period and how it applies today. There are so many biblical events that took place in history that we would be wise to learn from and put into effect today.

One of the most compelling is that when a country turned their back on God there were always serious consequences. Such as good Kings being replaced by corrupt and evil rulers (eg. the Israelites becoming slaves under the rule of the Egyptian Pharaoh), as well as an increase in sexual depravity, violence and illness. The solution to being freed from bondage and slavery is to humbly submit to God’s perfect will, honour Him and obey His Commandments. 2 Chronicles 7:14 states that when we do this it comes with a promise, that God will heal our land.

“Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,
I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land”.
2 Chronicles 7:14

As it says in Ecclesiastes 3, “To EVERYTHING there is a SEASON, and a TIME for every matter or purpose under heaven.” God’s timing is impeccable. He is never early nor ever late in fulfilling His promises. “For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” (Habakkuk 2:3). So, like the sons of Issachar, we must have understanding of the times, to know what we ought to do (1 Chron. 12:32).

The holy season in which we commemorate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ is a sacred time on both Christian and Jewish calendars. In fact, the victory on the cross was won, when Jesus became for us, the Passover Lamb, “who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29); then rising on the third day, became the firstfruits from the dead, offering eternal life to those who receive Him. Jesus literally died on Passover, was raised on the Feast of Firstfruits and then sent His Holy Spirit on Pentecost to fill the Body of Christ with His power and His presence, making us the Temple of the Holy Spirit with the law written on our hearts.

The seven weeks between Passover to Pentecost is an important time to pray for our country and its leaders and also a time when people reflect on the holiness of God and His character, and are called to sanctify themselves for personal revelation by engaging in seven weeks of repentance to be released from bondage of sin and to turn to freedom in Christ.

As an act of obedience, Action4Canada, is once again mobilizing its members, pastors and churches across Canada to participate in the 2nd Annual seven week Prayer Walk4Revival campaign which began on April 23rd through to June 12th.

As we did last year, we will walk humbly under the Christian flag and pray around our city halls, schools, public libraries, town squares, news and media outlets, pride parade routes, and any other place that the enemy has infiltrated. We will pray on site with insight, asking for forgiveness for ourselves and the people of our communities and country, and inviting God’s Kingdom Will to be done here on earth, in Canada, in our community and in our hearts, as it is in heaven.

Last year’s campaign brought many spiritual victories such as: premiers passing parental policies, and medical and political corruption being exposed, and a literal wall came tumbling down.

CBDC = Government Surveillance and Control!

Former Conservative MP Rob Anders joined Tanya Gaw on last week’s Empower Hour to discuss the looming threat of Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) in Canada. Substantial steps are being taken by the government and the Bank of Canada to issue a digital form of the Canadian dollar, known as a CBDC, or in reality, implementing financial surveillance. Unlike cryptocurrencies which are decentralized and private, CBDCs are the total opposite. CBDCs are completely owned and controlled by governments. There would no longer be a ‘middle man’ (aka the banks) who must adhere to strict privacy regulations. Instead, the government would hold your wallet, your money, and have access to all of your private banking information. This would include information on every transaction connected to your daily life.

CBDCs will be a disaster for Canada so be sure to watch the Empower Hour video above to learn more and read Action4Canada’s Weekly Action page on this topic to see what steps you can take to stop CBDCs in Canada.

In response Tanya Gaw, founder of Action4Canada, provides a Weekly News Update on current issues that are important to Canadians, as well as providing effective resources and actions to equip and empower citizens in protecting their rights and freedoms and defend this great nation!
