Urgent Call to Action! We need your help. Christianity is under attack nationwide and most notably right now in Kelowna BC where a group of vile anti-Christian agitators are attempting to erase Christ from Christmas.

Since 2021 many churches have been burned or severely vandalized (Blacklock’s report lists over 400). This year on Remembrance Day, military chaplains were ordered not to pray or mention the word God. Pro-life champions have been arrested for praying in public. Ministers and pastors have been charged with hate and mischief for speaking out in defense of children and family. And now this:

Last week Kelowna City council ordered a sign that read “Keep Christ in Christmas” removed from a nativity scene erected by the Knights of Columbus in Stuart Park. The sign was taken down in response to the Kelowna Atheists, Skeptics, and Humanists Association filing a complaint saying “This message is not merely festive—it is political, advocating for a specific religious interpretation of the holiday.”

How ridiculous and outrageous! How can the celebration of Jesus Christ’s birth be political? Canada is a Christian nation and the birth of Christ has been celebrated for over 2000 years. This is the most monumental event in human history so why would anyone feel compelled to listen to a group of atheists? This flimsy excuse to repress religious expression is a clear attack on Christianity.

By ordering the sign to be taken down, to appease a handful of vocal atheists who hate everything that Christmas represents, the City Council has insulted millions of Christians nationwide.

Please take a few minutes to email Kelowna councillors to register your outrage. Simply copy and paste the below text into an email (or write your own) and send it to the emails provided. Please act quickly in order to motivate the Council to have the sign reinstalled before Christmas!

RE: Keeping Christ in Christmas

Dear Mayor Tom Dyas, Cllr Ron Cannan, Cllr Maxine DeHart, Cllr Charlie Hodge, Cllr Gord Lovegrove, Cllr Mohini Singh, Cllr Luke Stack, Cllr Rick Webber, Cllr Loyal Wooldridge,

By ordering the removal of the sign that reads “Keep Christ in Christmas”, you have disrespected millions of Canadian Christians and the principles and values our Fathers of Confederation built this country on.

For Council to bend to the demands of the Kelowna Atheists, Skeptics, and Humanists Association who said, “Christmas is politically motivated to advocate for a specific religious interpretation of the holiday”, is perverted logic. Christmas clearly celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ. That is obvious. To say that is a political interpretation is non-sensical. There is no interpretation required – it is a celebration of Jesus Christ’s birth.

Elected officials have a duty to respect and uphold our Canadian heritage and traditions, especially those that are ingrained in our Constitution, Rule of Law and etched in the walls of Parliament. Therefore, I request that you immediately reverse this egregious decision and apologize for your insensitivity and lack of good judgement in this matter.

Respectfully,
