The Riverside Education Society, on behalf of Riverside Calvary Chapel, is in the application process to open a Group 3 Independent School. They are hosting a free event on Saturday, January 20, 2024, to help inspire citizens about how they can contribute to making a lasting impact in education. The presentation will explore and ponder the following questions:
- What is the purpose of education?
- What kind of students do we want to enter the world?
- How can we help reshape education so that students enter the world well-equipped?
- How do we create a lasting effect?
- How can education influence our culture for Christ?
- What role do parents, families, and our elders have in education?
The purpose of this event is to gather anyone who understands how important education is and how it affects both individuals and our communities at large. Please plan to attend this important and potentially life-changing event!
Tanya Gaw, founder of Action4Canada, will also be speaking briefly on how we can work to protect our children within our communities and the education system. Tanya will also well as an appeal to develop a local Langley Chapter.
