Empower Hour: Special Notice
There will be no Empower Hour on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. The Action4Canada team is preparing for upcoming actions and events, gearing up for a busy fall and anticipating more great wins ahead!
This week’s message includes important updates and spotlights several Call to Action campaigns you may have missed over the summer. Please take a few minutes to participate, and be sure to share them with others and across your social media.
Big Tech is censoring Action4Canada emails. Gmail, Hotmail, Shaw/Rogers, and other providers are blocking or filtering tens of thousands of our messages—deciding for you what information you can and cannot receive. We’ve been working hard to resolve this, so you may suddenly notice our emails arriving again—possibly after months or even years without hearing from us. To make sure our critical updates reach you without interruption, take the following steps listed HERE.
Your voice matters—don’t let censorship silence it.
Further Call to Action: Ministerial Order – Close the Loopholes! Protect Children!
Earlier this summer, you responded to our national Call to Action urging Alberta to remove pornographic materials from schools—and it worked. On July 10, the Alberta government issued a Ministerial Order to remove explicit content from K–12 school libraries by October 1, 2025. But now, we need your help again to close dangerous loopholes that still put children at risk.
These loopholes allow 55 municipal public libraries inside schools to keep explicit books and give teachers full discretion to use them in classrooms. We must press the government to extend protections to all learning environments and resources. Read the full action and send your letter HERE.
Empower Hour August 20th – Homeschooling: Updates and Warnings
As September approaches, parents still have time to choose a different path — homeschooling.
What better way to protect your children and give them the best education than through homeschooling? In our latest Empower Hour, Action4Canada’s Homeschool Lead, Doris Livingstone, sat down with Peter Stock, President of the Home School Legal Defence Association (HSLDA), for an eye-opening conversation on parents’ legal rights, protecting home education, and why homeschooling is one of the most empowering choices you can make for your child’s future.
To help you take that first step with confidence, visit A4C’s Homeschool Revolution page for reliable resources and information.
Watch, share, and help more families discover the freedom and success that homeschooling can offer.
Please take five minutes to carry out this important action
Participate in the Further Call to Action to defend our churches and protect charitable status. Our first Call to Action made waves—Liberal MP, Doug Eyolfson (Winnipeg West), responded by insisting “the government has never considered removing charitable status.” Come again? The Liberals hold the majority of seats on the Finance Committee—the very committee that issued recommendations 429 & 430—to “remove charitable status”. Eyolfson dismissed the recommendations as merely “advisory” but Canadians know the Liberal pattern: deny first, legislate later.
Now is the time to push back. Prime Minister Mark Carney must be pressed to make a clear, public commitment to reject these harmful recommendations.
If you haven’t yet taken action, please do so today. Your voice can help protect the vital role churches play in our communities. Use the template letter HERE to voice your opposition and share this campaign with others.
New: Net Zero Flyer Handout
The Canadian Net-Zero Emissions Accountability Act is driving expensive “carbon-neutral” policies in communities across Canada—built on the fraudulent “Climate Emergency.” These initiatives will cost Canadians trillions while delivering near-zero environmental impact. Let’s call it what it is: a massive wealth transfer that is impoverishing Canadians and eroding our rights and freedoms.
Action4Canada has created a New Net Zero Flyer, available on our 15 Minute City page, to help wake Canadians up. But we can’t do it alone—we need you to print and share this resource widely, spark conversations, and mobilize citizens in your community to tell their elected officials “No—to costly, ineffective net-zero agendas!”
If you find what we are doing is valuable then please contribute to Action4Canada today! It is very much appreciated and every dollar is used in ways that make the greatest impact on preserving Canadian sovereignty, our rights and freedoms, and the foundation of this nation, which is built on solid Christian biblical principles and values. Please consider either a one time gift or becoming a monthly supporter. Help Action4Canada continue to bring solutions and hope to the nation!
