“Israel Did Not Want This War”

Watch the Dying to Live documentary with an open mind, then ask yourself: how much of what you ‘know’ about Israel comes from state-shaped narratives and selective news headlines? Israel’s plea— “We will not rest until every hostage is home”—is not rhetoric but the urgent demand of a nation with families still ripped apart and civilians held captive.

Danny Danon, Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, addressed the UN Security Council’s recent resolution calling for a ceasefire. Danon’s warning that “Israel will not be told to go home and sleep while terror stands at our door” should prompt more questions, not reflexive condemnation. The United States vetoed the UNs resolution because it failed to condemn Hamas, called for an unconditional ceasefire that could undermine hostage negotiations, and risked weakening Israel’s right to defend itself while ongoing diplomatic talks were still underway.

Israel is fighting because it has no choice. Hostages remain in captivity, rockets still rain down, and Hamas openly declares its goal to destroy the Jewish state. Yet too many nations condemn Israel’s defense while ignoring the global slaughter of Christians and the persecution of minorities at the hands of Muslims, in Islamic countries. They further ignore the growing threat to the West itself, from stealth jihad to deadly Islamic attacks on our own soil. This hypocrisy is not about peace—it is about deep-seated hatred of Israel and the Jewish people. It is time to confront that bias and stand with truth.

“Islam” Is The Common Denominator

Rev. Majed El Shafie recently returned from Syria, and a new video has been released revealing how dire the situation has become. Since early 2025, the Druze of Syria—along with Christians and Alawites—have endured horrific attacks, persecution, mass abductions, and massacres. Thousands have been killed, women raped, and more than 500 girls kidnapped.

While the world has largely ignored these atrocities, Israel remains the only nation defending Syria’s minorities. OFWI teams are active on both sides of the Israel–Syria border, delivering humanitarian relief and preparing rescue missions to free those kidnapped.

This video is a wake-up call—the Islamist ideology behind the massacres in Syria is the very same threat taking root in Canada, and around the world. Its adherents cite the Qur’an and cast non-believers as legitimate targets. We must take this threat seriously and confront it decisively.

Call to Action: Review the following A4C page, Political Islam in Canada, and share the information with your local elected officials. Demand they name the enemy, Islam, and stop facilitating and accommodating their subversion into society at large, and all levels of government.
