Confused about life and finances? Tanner Hnidey, an economist, speaker and author, joins Tanya Gaw on the upcoming Empower Hour to provide a presentation on finances from a biblical perspective. Rather than putting your trust in men or banks, Tanner will offer a different point of view to help you make informed decisions regarding your finances and your faith, moving forward.

Tanner has an incredible range of knowledge and speaks with power and passion. He is a frequent guest on numerous television shows and podcasts as well as staying current on his own website and podcast. After graduating from university with a degree in economics, he started TannerHnidey.com, and numerous other social media pages. There, he produces a variety of content, from articles to videos, in his defence of conservative values, capitalism, common sense, and Christianity. He is the author of True Christianity and Kingdom of Cain.

Be sure to register in advance and show up with your questions as there will be an opportunity for you to submit them.

In a recent article by Better Dwelling they warn Canadians to prepare for a potential banking crisis. “Canadian banks have been considered mostly risk-free for a long time, but every streak ends. A former Canadian banking regulator urges the country’s policymakers to prepare for that day while it still can. In a new report from CD Howe, a former OSFI manager urges the country to modernize its banking crisis response and adopt more prudent measures. Failing to do so can result in a major hit to the country’s financial stability, resulting in a wide range of issues from bank runs to an outright collapse of financial institutions. As unlikely as this sounds, it comes after the recent wave of global financial institutions that were believed to be invincible, collapsed over a few months. Policymakers were left claiming no one saw it coming, but were they even looking?

Mark Zelmer, a senior fellow at C.D. Howe who formerly served as the deputy superintendent at OSFI, Canada’s bank regulator, says, “While Canada has not had any serious failures in many years, it would be best to prepare for possible problems now when things are quiet, rather than in the heat of the moment”. SILENCED: A Tommy Robinson Documentary

In this special Empower Hour we presented Tommy Robinson’s newly released movie, ‘Silenced’. Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, a.k.a. Tommy Robinson, is an international hero. On October 28, 2024 he was imprisoned for being in contempt of court for publishing this documentary, Silenced. The film exposes the treasonous leaders, corrupt judiciary, weaponized legal system and two-tier policing which are working in tandem to oppress the British people while they permit illegal immigrants and migrants to undermine the nation’s laws and national identity, and get away with mass rapes, violence and murder.

Citizens around the globe need to understand that Stephen’s fight for truth and justice is much bigger than just him and his family, this is a battle to protect the very principles that undergird all of our freedoms and democracy. The broader implications of Stephen’s case resonate far beyond the UK and we would be wise to heed his warnings and step up and into the battle, before it is too late. Learn more HERE.
