On the next Empower Hour, Tanya Gaw, founder of Action4Canada, will discuss the newly launched August 2025 Investigative Report: Islamic Networks, Ideology, and Infiltration in Alberta—the findings that prompted a meeting with senior Alberta officials and a formal request for policy on immigration, terrorism, and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Despite providing this information to Premier Danielle Smith’s government, Action4Canada has yet to receive a substantive response. Tanya will also address the year-and-a-half effort to secure a Conservative MP’s sponsorship of a parliamentary e-petition calling for the Muslim Brotherhood to be designated a terrorist organization. Successive MPs have declined. Why? Does their refusal reflect a broader party position?

The expansion of Islamic networks, terrorist financing, and efforts to undermine democratic institutions pose an existential national-security threat. Political correctness and selective application of “rights” must not place any doctrine or organization beyond scrutiny, silence legitimate criticism, or excuse failures to enforce Canadian law. Muslims comprise roughly 5% of Canada’s population. The majority has both the right and the duty to defend the country’s freedoms, constitutional foundations, and rule of law—particularly as Europe and the UK demonstrate the consequences of unchecked ideological accommodation.

Tanya will examine the evidence, challenge government officials to answer it, and call for concrete action. Political sensitivities must not shield any doctrine or organization from scrutiny. Canadians deserve answers and enforcement of Canadian law.

The August 2025 Investigative Report: Islamic Networks, Ideology, and Infiltration in Alberta documents the Muslim Brotherhood’s “Civilization-Jihadist Process”—a long-term strategy to advance Sharia and a global caliphate by infiltrating Western societies from within. In their own words:

“The process of settlement is a ‘Civilization-Jihadist Process’ with all the word means. The Ikhwan [Muslim Brotherhood] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and god’s (allah’s) religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

In Canada, the report identifies front organizations including the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC), National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM), Islamic Relief Canada, and others with reported ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, and terrorism financing. It notes MAC’s open acknowledgment of its Muslim Brotherhood heritage, ongoing CRA investigations, and the use of institutions such as Islamic schools, mosques, and Sharia-compliant financial products to embed Islamic doctrine into Canadian public life.

In Alberta specifically, the report highlights ISIS recruitment from the province, active cells in Calgary and Edmonton, radical imams promoting jihad and martyrdom, Islamic schools seeking public funding while enforcing gender segregation and anti-Western curriculum, and government accommodations such as halal mortgages approved by imams with extremist links. It further examines how zakat and halal certification channels can serve as vehicles for funding and institutional capture, warning that these networks exploit immigration policy, charitable status, and multiculturalism to advance an agenda incompatible with Canada’s constitutional order and national security.

The report concludes that the Muslim Brotherhood and its affiliates represent a clear national-security threat and recommends designating the group as a terrorist organization; denying public funding and charitable status to affiliated groups; deporting terrorist sympathizers; and ending accommodations that advance Sharia norms. These findings form the basis of Action4Canada’s meeting with Alberta officials and the call for a parliamentary e-petition—both of which remain unanswered.

Costco Canada has quietly switched nearly its entire meat supply to Halal without member’s consent or notice. Halal slaughter requires the animal to remain fully conscious while its throat is slit in the name of Allah and it is left to bleed out until dead. Every air-chill slaughterhouse in Canada is now halal which means unless you are buying from a local supplier you are consuming halal meat. According to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), grocery stores are not obligated to label it.

What can you do? …Sign the Petition, Boycott Costco and Cancel your Membership. We are the majority and we need to send Costco, and every other food supplier and grocery chain, a loud and clear message that we will not allow muslims (5% of the population) to dominate the food industry with their barbaric foreign ideologies.

This issue is not really about food. It is an incremental step in stealth jihad. The plan as the Muslim Brotherhood put it, “eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house…”

Islam is a threat to Canada’s sovereignty and an attack against our Judeo-Christian heritage. Its modus operandi is to enter non-Muslim nations and rather than embrace the host country’s values—it pushes its own. Muslims make demands and requests for accommodations, in reality Sharia law is being implemented right under our noses. Halal is based on Islamic Sharia law which is incompatible with western Christian nations. Muslim leaders have openly described Halal as a means “to conquer the world through the Halal movement”. It is also reportedly used to fund terrorism. Europe and the UK are the proof of what happens when a country fails to say no to these accommodations at the start.

Canadians are the majority, and our buying power will be used to set this matter straight and Costco should use its buying power to restore conventional pre-stunned meat as the standard.
