Defend Our Christian Foundation – Target the Governor General on Bill C-9
Urgent Action: We recognize that everyone is busy preparing for Christmas, yet the threat posed by Bill C-9 remains critically urgent—we must act now! This anti-Christian legislation represents an unconstitutional assault on our Biblical freedoms and Canada’s cherished Christian heritage. With Parliament adjourned until January 26, 2026, this holiday window provides a vital opportunity to mount overwhelming pressure. Previous actions have already succeeded in forcing delays and cancellations of committee meetings—proof that united voices make a difference! Please take 10 minutes to complete this action!
In partnership with David Lindsay, co-founder of CLEAR, we are now escalating our efforts by directly engaging the Constitutional gatekeepers. David has personally served Governor General Mary Simon with a Legal and Constitutional Notice on December 15, and has prepared two additional letters for concerned citizens to send to both the Governor General and their Member of Parliament. This coordinated effort is designed to remind them and make them aware of their constitutional duties, limits of power, and obligations under the law. And that we are demanding they fulfill their duties, authority and obligations.
As the King’s representative, the Governor General swears allegiance to His Majesty, who is himself bound by a living Coronation Oath to govern in accordance with Biblical law and to uphold the Protestant Christian faith as established in law. Bill C-9 violates multiple provisions of the Charter and the Constitution, and stands in direct conflict with Canada’s Christian Constitutional foundation. As such, the Governor General has neither the power nor the authority to grant Royal Assent to an unlawful bill. Educating Members of Parliament and saturating the Governor General’s office with well-founded Constitutional reminders will play a decisive role in stopping Bill C-9 before it advances any further.

Re: Bill C-9, Want of Power to Give Royal Assent
Dear Right Honourable Mary Simon,
As you are likely aware, Bill C-9, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (hate propaganda, hate crime, and access to religious or cultural places), is presently before Parliament and under consideration in committee stage.
On December 15, 2025 you were put on LEGAL AND CONSTITUTIONAL NOTICE, that your Constitutional powers and duties prohibit you from giving Royal Assent to Bill C-9 in its present form, and I am respectfully demanding that you comply with your Constitutional duties and refuse to give Bill C-9 Royal Assent if and/or when it is presented to you, as presently worded, in compliance with your Oath of Allegiance and Oath of Office to King Charles III. Giving Royal Assent to Bill C-9 as it is presently worded, would be a knowing and willful violation of your sworn Oath, and is likely to result in legal repercussions.
Accordingly, I also have notified Members of Parliament, that they do not have the Constitutional power to vote in favour of Bill C-9, as doing so would contradict the King’s Coronation Oath to maintain the Protestant Christian religion and protect the rights and liberties of Protestant clergy, and the true profession of the Gospel.
Further, as MPs, they do not have the power, pursuant to their Oaths and s. 91 of the Constitution Act 1867, to aid and advise you to break your Oaths to the King, and the King’s Coronation Oath promises to us, by giving Royal Assent to Bill C-9.
When Bill C-9 comes before you, I instruct you—based on, and in accordance with your sworn Oaths and the Constitution—to refuse to give Royal Assent to Bill C-9.
