While Canadians struggle with skyrocketing grocery bills, unaffordable mortgages, and crumbling services, the CBC, APTN, and Canadian Heritage poured millions of taxpayer dollars into an elaborate deception operation designed to smear and humiliate citizens who dare question the collapsing Truth and Reconciliation narrative.
Using the fake shell company Forge Media, this state-backed production lured targets with false promises of legitimate interviews and documentaries. They created fake websites, used fake names, and flew people across the country under completely false pretenses. This wasn’t journalism. It was a taxpayer-funded ambush.
Molly Gore, an American activist operating under the alias “Pam Gibson” and Igor Vamos, played central roles. They (and their team) deceived participants, including flying Francis Widdowson from Alberta to Vancouver, putting her up in a hotel, and then springing a staged confrontation involving children’s shoes dumped on the table. Widdowson described fearing for her safety as the setup became threatening. They even entered Tanya Gaw’s home under lies and false identities.
This reckless stunt also targeted retired RCMP officers—men and women who served on the front lines, witnessed unimaginable trauma on reserves, and risked their lives protecting communities. They were lured to a Vancouver studio under the pretense of being honoured for their service, only to be publicly berated and humiliated on camera. The RCMP Veterans’ Association and National Police Federation have condemned the operation, with the RCMP reportedly engaging legal teams over the psychological harm inflicted on veterans who already carry the scars of decades of duty.
This is what your tax dollars paid for: fake companies; American operatives flown into Canada; luxury travel and hotels; and coordinated character assassination—all to prop up a failing narrative built on unverified graves, land grabs, and hundreds of billions of dollars in transfers. CBC has now paused the project amid backlash, but the damage has already been done. Who approved this? Exactly how much money was wasted?
