BC Premier David Eby recently came out blaming “AI” for the Tumbler Ridge massacre. This is unconscionable. The fact is that governments across Canada have been indoctrinating, grooming, confusing and sexualizing our children in the education system for decades and the outcome is tragic! They have manufactured mental illness en masse and then provided medical mutilation, sterilization and a lifetime of drugs as the solution. This is child abuse.
No Mr Eby…it is not AI that was responsible…it is you and every other Premier—along with the Education & Health Ministers, MLAs, school board trustees, superintendents and LGBTQ activists—who have been shoving this radical ideology down our children’s throats day, after day, after day.
Our children are in crisis and it is time for every Canadian to step up and take action!

Subject: Urgent Demand to Address the Tumbler Ridge Massacre and Eradicate Harmful Gender Ideology Policies from BC Schools and Institutions
Attention: Public Official
I write as a concerned citizen to address the recent Tumbler Ridge massacre, the government’s involvement, the underlying reasons for this tragedy, and the steps that must be taken to protect our children and prevent future attacks. This event was a direct result of indoctrinating children in the education system with radical ideologies leading them down a path of rapid medical interventions that cause irreversible harm and increased risk of violent behaviour.
Children are being prescribed harmful puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and other drugs that interfere with their natural development, including Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) as antidepressants. Approximately 40% of individuals identifying as transgender are prescribed SSRIs, which scientific evidence links to a 43% higher risk of violent crime convictions. This is a recipe for disaster as evidenced by the fact that roughly 40% of school shooters are trans identified. Long-term data further shows sex-reassigned individuals face triple the overall mortality and a 19-fold higher suicide risk (Dhejne et al).
You—along with other Premiers, Education Ministers, Health Ministers, MLAs, School Board Trustees, Superintendents and Principals—share personal responsibility for the Tumbler Ridge tragedy. Action4Canada has previously served the SOGI Notice of Liability, which details measurable harms including: indoctrination and exploitation of children’s innocence; promotion of unscientific gender concepts; exposure to explicit sexual content; encouragement of secret clubs (eg. GSAs) and social transitions without parental knowledge; and facilitation of dangerous, irreversible medical interventions. Despite these repeated warnings, you have ignored them, doubled down, and continued policies that abuse children and families.
BC Premier Eby publicly expressed grief over the shooting, calling it “unimaginable,” “devastating,” and “horrifying,” and yet he had the unmitigated nerve to blame “AI” rather than admit SOGI 123 and the medical interventions are the root cause. Premiers and all public officials, must acknowledge their own failures and that of the education system and medical establishments that participated in the mental and physical abuse of Jesse Van Rootselaar—a biological male exposed to these ideas from a young age, fast-tracked into social and medical transition, and ultimately driven to violence and suicide. If you are serious about prevention, then you cannot ignore policies that push vulnerable youth into irreversible hormonal and surgical mutilation procedures or the role of dangerous psychiatric drugs that push them over the edge.
There is zero credible scientific evidence that a child can be “born in the wrong body.” The sharp rise in youth identifying as transgender is widely recognized in medical literature as a social contagion, amplified by school-based affirmation policies that treat normal childhood confusion as fixed identity. Schools have become testing grounds for this ideology, with the same institutions directing children toward puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries—interventions linked to sterility, bone density loss, cardiovascular risks, persistent mental health crises, and a lifetime of pharmaceutical drugs. Federal Bill C-4 compounds the harm by threatening parents, clergy, and counselors with criminal penalties for refusing to affirm confusion, criminalizing protective guidance. Action4Canada has raised these alarms for nearly a decade and its time for affirmative action.
Momentum is building against these practices, highlighted by a recent precedent in the United States: In Varian v. Einhorn et al. (January 30, 2026, New York), where a jury awarded $2 million to detransitioner Fox Varian (now 22) after her psychologist and surgeon were found liable for malpractice in rushing affirmation and performing a double mastectomy at age 16—without adequate evaluation, informed consent, or alternatives—leaving her with lifelong harm. This first detransitioner malpractice suit to reach trial signals that personal liability for those enabling such interventions in minors is no longer a matter of if, but when. Officials and educators promoting these pathways face inevitable accountability.
Alberta has acted decisively, prohibiting sex-reassignment surgeries on minors and restricting puberty blockers and hormones. All Provinces have both the opportunity and the duty to follow this approach.
I therefore demand that you enact the steps that fall with your powers and jurisdiction, immediately:
- Remove SOGI 123, all related Comprehensive Sexuality Education materials, gender ideology curricula, DEI initiatives, GSAs that withhold information from parents, and other associated policies, from every school and government office in the province.
- Prohibit psychologists, counselors, and school staff from promoting sexuality, gender ideology, alternative identities or social transitions to minors.
- Introduce legislation prohibiting sex-reassignment medical and surgical interventions, including the prescription of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and SSRIs to minors.
- Safeguard parental rights and professional judgment in supporting children’s mental health.
Schools must focus strictly on reading, writing, arithmetic, and human biology. Every child has the right to go through puberty uninterrupted and without interference.
I look forward to your prompt attention to this critcial matter. The public is increasingly aware and expects leadership at every level that prioritizes child protection and parental authority.
