It has come to our attention that on February 13, 2025 a class action lawsuit was filed against Rocco Galati falsely accusing him of taking millions of dollars and not providing proper representation to his clients in legal actions he filed on their behalf in response to COVID-19. The four individuals behind this targeted attack are deceitfully purporting to represent Action4Canada. Let us make it abundantly clear: these individuals have no authority to act on our behalf, and their attempt to initiate legal proceedings against Mr Galati, his law firm and the Constitutional Rights Centre Inc. are entirely without merit.
These individuals do not speak for Action4Canada or any of the co-plaintiffs in our case. We categorically reject their claims and vigorously oppose their mischaracterization of Mr Galati’s work. These individuals had no involvement in retaining or instructing Mr Galati and therefore have no standing to file any grievance on our behalf. Their actions are both fraudulent and beyond their authority.
On August 17, 2021, Mr Galati, on behalf of Action4Canada, filed a legal action (Court File No.VLC-S-S-217586) in response to the severe violations, by both the BC and Federal governments, of our Charter Rights. Our objectives in pursuing this action were clear, and Mr Galati acted fully in line with our instructions. We chose Mr Galati because of our confidence in his expertise, and we remain confident in him today.
For the record, Action4Canada raised the necessary funds on its own. Neither Rocco, his firm, nor the CRC participated in any fundraising nor provided any funds to Action4Canada.
In addition, we were shocked and dismayed to discover that Rebel News reporter, Tamara Ugolini, was the first to “report” on this matter and it was nothing short of a smear campaign, lacking the ethics and standards of responsible journalism. Ms Ugolini made no effort to contact Action4Canada for a statement. She also neglected to undertake a thorough investigation into those who are behind this lawfare. Had she done so she would have found out that the lawyers involved (Umar Shiekh and Polina Furtula) also represent individuals Alexandra Moore and Kip Warner. Moore and Warner have been colluding for many years in a character assassination of Mr Galati, in order to destroy him and his law firm’s reputation, and in addition, harm the reputation of Action4Canada.
Kip Warner spent four and a half years undertaking a military-style smear campaign and in 2023 Action4Canada’s research team discovered that he was tied to the World Economic Forum. Alexandra Moore of Canuck Law, was simultaneously attacking Rocco through her online platform. So, in February 2024, A4C decided to expose them. See video below.
In regards to the accusations regarding fees, it is standard practice for plaintiffs to raise substantial funds to undertake legal actions of this magnitude, including Constitutional challenges. The Democracy Fund, a Charity that Rebel News set up to help people fight fines, raised over $10.5 million between 2021 to 2023. Likewise, the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms raised over $19.3 million in the same time period. Neither of them are under scrutiny, despite not having won any cases that have set a Charter precedent in the Supreme Court. In contrast, many of Mr Galati’s cases are still ongoing and have the potential to bring true justice for every single Canadian.
Rebel News should be cheering him on. Instead they are sensationalizing his fees, and by doing so helping his detractors throw him under the bus. It is not surprising however, as since the fall of 2021 Rebel News has not reported on the amazing work of Action4Canada, including our Notices of Liability, or the significant wins that Rocco achieved just by filing the NOCCs. Our combined efforts resulted in BC Ferries immediately dropping their mask policy and vaxpass, and the BC Education Minister refusing to mandate the ‘vaccine’ resulting in 45,000 teachers and school staff having the right to medical autonomy and not being put on unpaid leave or losing their jobs, just to name a few.
In closing, the Board of Directors of Action4Canada assert that the failure to uphold our rights lies with the Crown, the Courts, and the Chief Justices, not with Mr Galati. Directing frustration toward one lawyer is misguided, counterproductive, and diverts attention from the real issue.
