We are honoured to welcome back one of our most powerful and knowledgeable guests—David Lindsay, co-founder of Common Law Education and Rights (CLEAR) and a tireless defender of our constitutional freedoms for over 30 years.
David is widely recognized for his expertise on the Coronation Oath, the Constitution, and the sacred duties of elected officials and the Crown. A regular and favourite on the Action4Canada Empower Hour, he has helped thousands of Canadians better understand how our highest laws, rooted in the Christian faith and the King’s solemn oath, bind every Member of Parliament, Senator, Governor General, and public servants to protect our God-given rights and freedoms.
With Bill C-9 now in the Senate and heading for second reading, David will expose how this bill violates the Coronation Oath and the constitutional duties of our elected officials. You will not want to miss this timely and empowering session.
One of the most powerful yet deliberately overlooked defences of our freedoms is the Coronation Oath, described by Action4Canada Founder Tanya Gaw as “the buried treasure of Canada’s Constitution that desperately needs to be resurrected.”
This is not a dusty historical document. It is a living, breathing, and legally binding agreement in which the Monarch swears before Almighty God to govern according to the Laws of God and the true profession of the Gospel. Its significance within Canada’s constitutional framework has profound implications for governance and accountability—yet it is never discussed in modern public discourse, and successive governments have chosen to ignore it, enabling the erosion of Canada’s Constitution, its Christian heritage, and the fundamental rights of its people. It is time to bring it back to life and to restore it as the standard by which every decision in the House, Senate and judiciary is measured.
David Lindsay first introduced this critical truth to Action4Canada back in 2020 and has partnered closely with Tanya Gaw and the team ever since. Together they have worked diligently to bring the Coronation Oath out of obscurity and into the public square as a powerful constitutional weapon. With Bill C-9 now before the Senate, this partnership and this knowledge have never been more timely or more urgent.
Before taking the oath, King Charles attempted to alter it into an interfaith declaration, but public backlash forced him to uphold the original text. Yet this has not prevented him from repeatedly violating its solemn terms.
Far from a ceremonial formality, the Coronation Oath is a binding vow made before Almighty God. In a powerful public letter, a senior Bishop has now confronted the King directly, declaring that he is eroding the Christian heritage of the British Commonwealth and failing in his sworn duty. The Bishop reminded His Majesty that the Oath “was not a poetic formality. It was a solemn vow before Almighty God to maintain and preserve the Protestant Reformed religion established by law. Those words bind the conscience of the Sovereign.” (View recording 4:15)
This powerfully validates what Action4Canada and David Lindsay have championed for years: the Coronation Oath is not symbolic—it is a living constitutional obligation that demands accountability.

URGENT: Continue to Apply Pressure!
Bill C-9 has now reached the Senate and is heading for second reading. This is a critical moment. Senators have already begun commenting publicly that they are being flooded with emails from concerned Canadians—this is excellent news and a clear sign that our pressure is working.
The Call to Action includes a prepared letter advising Senators of their duties and limitations according to the Coronation Oath, and that their constitutional powers and responsibilities prohibit them from aiding and advising the King, through the Governor General, to grant Royal Assent to Bill C-9 in its present form.
It calls on Senators to reject the bill in its entirety—or, at the very least, to reject the removal of the religious defence. This raises an important question: how can legislation move forward that may restrict the expression of Scripture, when the Coronation Oath itself affirms the “true profession of the Gospel”?
This goes to the very foundations of Canada’s legal and constitutional traditions.
Therefore, if you haven’t already taken action, please do so today. And if you have, continue to call and write—and request a reply. Also, don’t forget to sign the petition and share this campaign widely by email, text, and social media. Take action HERE.
We must not let up. Now is the time to intensify our efforts. Every email and every call counts. The Senate is feeling the pressure—let’s keep it going.
Prepping For Hard Times and For Eternity
On this Empower Hour we welcomed Pastor Dan Vachon, Action4Canada Chapter Leader and “Prepper Dan”, for a timely and practical conversation on “Prepping for Hard Times and For Eternity.”
Dan delivered excellent, down-to-earth guidance covering food storage and preservation, off-grid cooking, tower gardens, emergency preparedness including generators, solar options, and fuel realities. He then balanced it beautifully with biblical insight, encouraging us to prepare not only physically but spiritually for whatever lies ahead—whether a season of revival or end-times events. This episode is full of hope, wisdom, and actionable steps for both today and eternity.
Be sure to visit and share the A4C Prepper Dan Food Security page for resources, videos, and helpful information on how to grow and preserve your own food and much more!
