A Systematic Attack Against Trustee, Barry Neufeld
When: Wednesday, September 21, 2022 4:30pm PST/7:30pm EST
We are very pleased to have Barry Neufeld, Chilliwack School Board Trustee and National Hero, on the next Empower Hour. Mr. Neufeld has been on the front-line taking a stand against the sexualization of our children through the education system.
Mr. Neufeld is headed to the Supreme Court of Canada on October 11th. Please read the overview of his story and donate to this extremely important case. Mr. Neufeld is up against an army of lawyers representing a dozen 2SLGBTQ+ collaborators involved in the largest network in Canada who are illegally grooming, sexualizing and exploiting minors by exposing them to sexual deviancy, pornographic/explicit resources, as well as adult performers (Drag Queens).
Mr. Neufeld has sustained a targeted and systematic attack for voicing his concerns about the SOGI 123 (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity) resource that was launched in BC and Alberta public schools in 2016, and for comparing gender transitioning, to child abuse. SOGI 123 is a resource that has been integrated into all areas of the school curriculum under the guise of an anti-bullying program but is in reality focused on sexualizing and indoctrinating students by teaching and promoting unscientific 2SLGBTQ+ gender ideology and exposing them to harmful and sexually explicit material.
The vicious hate campaign against Neufeld was led by Glen Hansman, former president of the BC Teacher’s Federation, Rob Flemming, former BC Minister of Education, and included the CUPE 411 Union, fellow trustees and LGBTQ advocates and lobby groups
In 2018 Mr. Neufeld filed a defamation case against Glen Hansman for attacking his character and inflicting serious reputational harm. In 2020 Justice Alan Ross dismissed the case. Barry appealed the decision and won in June 2021 after three BC appeal court judges ruled in his favour. Hansman then appealed this decision of the BC Court of Appeal to the Highest Court in the land, and the nine Judges of the Supreme Court of Canada agreed to hear Hansman’s appeal on October 11 of this year.
In 2019, Lindsay Shepherd provided an overview of Barry Neufeld’s case. In the video above, Shannon Douglas, a candidate for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, provides an update on how Mr. Neufeld’s case is progressing against Glen Hansman as it moves to the Supreme Court of Canada.
It is of importance to point out that the ARC foundation is the creator of SOGI 123, and is in collaboration with the BC Ministry of Education; BC Teachers’ Federation; school districts across BC; UBC Faculty of Education; education partners; and various local, national, and international 2SLGBTQ+ community organizations.

Please donate to help Barry raise the money needed for this legal challenge. It is one of the most important cases in Canada in defence of our children and free speech.
