As Action4Canada prepares to return to court on September 24, we have spent the past several weeks revisiting the evidence and unanswered questions surrounding the COVID era and examining the growing calls for accountability. And the problems extend far beyond COVID corruption. Dallas has been sounding the alarm over the devastating financial and economic consequences of the Eby NDP government’s policies—historic and generational debt, uncontrolled spending, punitive taxation, over-regulation, the loss of resource jobs and an affordability crisis that is placing an enormous burden on British Columbians and future generations. Add to that the ongoing controversies surrounding crime and drugs, growing gang violence and terrorism, SOGI in our schools, parental rights, Aboriginal title and private property, reconciliation spending and immigration pressures, and the question becomes much bigger than any single policy.
If Dallas Brodie inherited all of this as Premier, where would she begin? Appointing a new Attorney General is a given. How would her government approach ongoing COVID litigation and the evidence underlying these cases? What would she do when serious evidence is brought before government or police? What policies would she reverse—and what concrete steps would a OneBC government take to restore fiscal responsibility, public safety, individual rights and accountable government in British Columbia?
