On June 18, 2026, Action4Canada hosted an informative online webinar for pastors and church leaders in response to the passing of Bill C-9. We were encouraged by the strong turnout and level of engagement from church leaders across Canada. Given the growing interest, we plan to provide future webinars to continue equipping and encouraging pastors as they navigate today’s challenges. 

Across Canada, many church leaders are asking important questions about the future of religious freedom, freedom of expression, and the role of the Church in an increasingly complex cultural and legal landscape.

Recent legislative developments, including the passage of Bill C-9, have heightened concerns among pastors and ministry leaders. In times such as these, it is essential that we are informed, encouraged, and equipped—not by fear, but by truth, wisdom, and a clear understanding of our rights and responsibilities.

In this presentation, we address:

• Constitutional protections for freedom of religion and conscience.
• Charter rights and the legal foundations that safeguard religious liberty.
• Historical and constitutional principles, including the significance of the Coronation Oath and the Rule of Law.
• Practical guidance for pastors navigating today’s cultural and legal challenges.
• Ways to lead your congregation with confidence, courage, and clarity.

This presentation is more than an information session. It is an opportunity to gain valuable insights, strengthen your understanding of Canada’s constitutional foundations, and be encouraged in your calling to faithfully serve your congregation and community.

The Church has faced challenges throughout history, yet faithful leaders have always risen to meet them with wisdom, conviction, and hope. We believe this is such a time.
