Proposed Development 113 Down Road in Courtice. The proposal seeks to develop approximately 2,500 low and medium density residential units of semi-attached dwellings, townhouses, stacked townhomes and apartment buildings, as well as mixed-use-blocks right on the waterfront.

You don’t fix a housing crisis by destroying irreplaceable land! Once it’s built it’s gone forever.

Have your questions ready.

  • The DEAL? Who’s paying for the Bridge, Erosion Protection & Big Park at the Courtice Waterfront approximately over $100 million dollars in projects? Tax Payers or Developer?
  • A large waterfront park (paid for by taxpayers not developer)
  • A new bridge for access, with estimates that have been discussed publicly in the $45-$60 million range (paid for by the taxpayers not developer)
  • What was the “DEAL” again?

There are lots of questions residents should be asking. How will this impact taxes, services, infrastructure, traffic, environment, provincial park and the waterfront long term.
