Proverbs 9:10
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
The wise men from the east followed a bright star that led them to Bethlehem, where they came to worship Jesus, the promised King. They knelt before Him in reverence and awe, offering gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh—gifts that reflected both honour and understanding.
Their wisdom did not come from earthly learning, but from a sincere fear of the Lord. They recognized that this child was no ordinary King, but God Himself, who had entered a fallen world as Saviour and Redeemer to accomplish a salvation that no earthly wisdom could possibly ever achieve.
This Christmas season, may a spirit of reverence and deep respect for our Lord fill your hearts. May you and your family be “blessed with every good and perfect gift that comes from above, descending from the Father of Lights!” – James 1:17
From the Action4Canada family to yours, we wish you a blessed Christmas and a New Year filled with peace, courage, and steadfast faith.
Action4Canada’s Christmas Service 2025
We are grateful to share our Action4Canada Christmas Special with you. This year’s Empower Hour Christmas Service, “A Story of Hope,” was a time of worship, reflection, and encouragement as we celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ—our King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and Saviour of the world. Pastor Dan Vachon delivered a deeply moving message that not only proclaimed the timeless truth of Christ’s birth, but also shared a personal testimony of God’s sustaining grace through serious health challenges. His journey stood as a living reminder that even in times of trial, God remains faithful and hope in Christ is alive.
We pray this message strengthens your faith and encourages your heart, reminding you that God’s promises remain sure in every season.
Heaven Came Down
“Heaven Came Down” is a heartfelt Christmas worship anthem celebrating the birth of Jesus—our Emmanuel, our Savior, our Peace. This song lifts up the miracle of God stepping into our world in humble form, bringing hope, joy, and salvation to all mankind. We pray this Christmas song leads your heart into awe and worship as we remember: Heaven came down, and everything changed.
The Christmas message begins with Christ born in a manger and is fulfilled through His willing sacrifice on the cross and His miraculous resurrection, when He conquered death and the grave. Because Jesus was sinless and the Son of God, death had no hold on Him. He died for us so that we too might share in his victory. Our physical body will one day die but through the gift of salvation we receive everlasting life. To Him be the glory and honour and praise. Amen.
“Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave; where is thy victory?”
(1 Cor. 15:54, 55)
