Jesus said,
I have come into the world as light,
so that whoever believes in Me may not remain in darkness.”
John 12:46

The days are dark. The temperatures cool. Twinkling lights decorate our homes and shine as beacons of comfort and joy as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. His humble first coming as a baby in a manger brought the promise of redemption. His majestic second coming as the Lion of Judah brings the promise of victory over darkness, and His life in between provides the example that we strive to imitate.

For those who are in Christ Jesus, who have accepted Him as Lord and Saviour, we have the assurance of salvation and victory over the evil that surrounds us today.  Jesus said in John 16: 33:

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble.
But take heart! I have overcome the world
.”

May you and your’s experience the peace of Jesus this Christmas season and may the New Year bring a restored sense of hope.

Action4Canada’s Christmas Service 2024

Enjoy Action4Canada’s annual Christmas Service Special. Pastor Dan Vachon narrates the Christmas story taking us back in time and exploring the people, the land, the culture and places surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ. Through pastor Dan’s message we will learn about the significance and importance of every detail, from the virgin birth to Old Testament prophecies that predicted the birth of Jesus, and how these events forever changed the world. The service includes heartwarming Christmas carols.

Our prayer is that you will be blessed by the message and feel a renewed sense of hope and encouragement.

Christmas Hallelujah

This video has become an annual favorite to share as we celebrate Christmas. It goes beyond the Christmas message of the Christ child born in a manager to Jesus’ death on the cross, a voluntary sacrifice to cover our sins. Through His miraculous resurrection He conquered death and the grave. Because Jesus was sinless and the Son of God, death had no hold on Him. He died for us so that we too would have victory over the grave. Our physical body will one day die but through the gift of salvation we receive everlasting life. To Him be the glory and honour and praise. Amen.

“Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave; where is thy victory?”
(1 Cor. 15:54, 55)
